# PostHog on iPhone and iPad

MobileHog is a native iOS app that shows your PostHog dashboards, insights, web analytics, recent events and errors on iPhone and iPad. It needs iOS 17 or later, signs in with your PostHog account and only ever reads.

## How signing in works

You sign in on PostHog’s page inside a secure Safari sheet. It shares Safari’s cookies, so if you’re already logged in to PostHog there, it’s one tap. Afterwards iOS hands the sign-in straight back to the app through a Universal Link.

## What you can check

-   Dashboards
    
    Open any dashboard and read it the way you built it, in the order you set. Tiles load from PostHog’s cache first, so the numbers are there before you’ve finished unlocking your phone.
    
-   Funnels and retention
    
    Funnel steps with drop-off between them, breakdowns you can compare, and retention grids that stay legible on a phone. Drag across a chart to read exact values.
    
-   Web analytics
    
    Visitors, page views, sessions, bounce rate and session duration, with top pages, referrers, countries and devices ranked underneath. For the last 24 hours, 7, 30 or 90 days.
    
-   Recent events
    
    The latest events in your project, newest first. Enough to confirm a release is sending what it should, without scrolling through an export.
    
-   Errors
    
    Your error tracking issues with occurrences and affected users over 24 hours, 7 or 30 days. Enough to decide whether it can wait until you’re back at your desk.
    
-   Session replays
    
    Browse recent recordings with duration and time, then open one in the browser with a single tap.
    
-   Flags, experiments and surveys
    
    Feature flags, experiments, surveys, cohorts and annotations, each with a count so you can see where there’s something to look at. Read-only, like everything else.
    
-   Multiple projects
    
    Switch between projects and organizations from any screen. MobileHog shows exactly what you granted it access to, nothing more.
    
-   Cloud and self-hosted
    
    Sign in with your PostHog account and MobileHog finds your region itself. Self-hosted instances connect with a personal API key.
