# Support

## Signing in doesn’t return to the app

After you approve access on PostHog’s page, your phone should switch back to MobileHog by itself. If you land on a page saying “Signed in” instead, open MobileHog once; the connection is usually already there. If not, sign in again from the app.

## I use self-hosted PostHog

Choose the API key option when connecting, enter your instance address, and paste a personal API key with read access. The app shows which permissions it needs while you create the key.

## A screen says a permission is missing

Your PostHog sign-in or API key doesn’t include access to that area. Use “Remove connection” in Settings, then connect again, granting access to the projects you want to see.

## A tile shows “not calculated yet”

PostHog hasn’t cached a result for that insight recently. Pull down to refresh to ask PostHog to calculate it. MobileHog doesn’t do this automatically, so it never spends your query quota in the background.
