What’s new

Every change to MobileHog, newest first. Changes to what the app can access are always listed here.

Updated

  1. Available on Google Play

    • MobileHog is out on Google Play, free, for Android 7.0 and later.
    • The iPhone version is coming soon to the App Store.

  2. Support inbox, people and opt-in actions

    • Your PostHog Support inbox in the app, with the person and their replay next to each ticket.
    • Tap an event to open the person behind it; open an error for its stack trace, or copy it as a prompt.
    • Share any insight as an image or CSV, and run quick HogQL queries.
    • Replying to tickets and switching feature flags are opt-in. Signing in stays read-only.

  3. Website and guides

    • The MobileHog website, with pages for iPhone and Android, a security overview, a setup guide and a press kit.
    • Sign-in moved to mobilehog.app, so the app and its website share one domain.
    • MobileHog asks for twelve read-only permissions: five it needs, seven that each unlock one screen.
